I’m excited to share that I have three of my landscape images on display at the 2017 South Cobb Arts Alliance Member Show & Sale at the Mable House Arts Center. The exhibit runs from January 19th – February 23rd. The Arts Center is open Monday through Thursday 9am – 5pm (free admission). SCAA is hosting an opening reception on Saturday, January 28th from 5-7 pm. I invite you to attend the reception or stop by and see the show another time at your convenience to see my fine art landscape prints as well as the work of other local artists, including paintings, sculptures, and mixed media artwork.
For this exhibit, I chose to showcase some of my local Georgia landscape photos. I hope you enjoy them.
I took this while we took the short nature hike around the small lake at Vogel State Park in Blairsville, Georgia. The lake was so still and empty and the clouds were just perfect that day so everything came together for a wonderful reflection in the water.
I took this image while walking on the Heritage Park Trail in Mableton, Georgia in the fall. The sun was just rising and the light streaming through the leaves was so beautiful. I laid down on the path and focused on the fallen leaves in front of me, letting the rest of the path and the sun-lit trees blur in the distance.
This was taken from the banks of West Point Lake, while camping at R. Shaefer Heard Park. The sky was so clear and the sunset was just incredible. The silhouette of fishermen in the distance was just the perfect scene of an evening at the lake.
